Isaiah Brevard Quacks!!!

Yet another talented commit joining the Ducks. The Ducks are now rated 1st in the Pac and all the way up to the 5th spot nationally for the class!

Oregon secondary is ballin'! Dang, I hope these seniors get to show their skills this year. Stanford men's squash program just got squashed!

The Ivy League has cancelled football and all sports till Jan 1, and Stanford cut 11 varsity sports. I'm beginning to get the feeling there won't be a season. Some are talking about FB in the Spring.

Re: Isaiah Brevard Quacks!!!

Seriously believe there will be no CFB in the fall whatsoever and that the restarts of the pro leagues will be halted mid-stream.  Just simply no way for contact/collision sports to avoid 100% the spread of this particular virus and with it the potential permanent disability to these athletes.  Not being political, but practical in my thinking as more layers of this Covid onion are peeled back and the newer consequences being revealed...

I'm afraid I agree, JJ. The more they learn about this virus, the nastier it seems to get. It's gonna suck, but the safety of the kids comes first.

Nice article about our newest commit:

He's known for his physicality and closing speed. I saw in another article that Nebraska was really recruiting him hard. With all the talented LB's coming in the Ducks should be racking up the sacks and causing errant throws under pressure. This should also create a lot of picks for the very talented Ducks DB's. Opposing offensive lines won't be able to just have to worry about 1 or 2 players. There will be a lot of pressure on the QB.

Ducks up to number 3 nationally! It wasn't that long ago that just being in the top 20 seemed like a practical goal and a top 15 class was considered a really good year. Being in the top 5 is something else and something a lot of people didn't think could happen here. Scott Frost certainly didn't think so.

I'm surprised USC has been able to turn the recruiting around with Helton still at the helm. Perhaps the other coaching changes are helping and their location being near constistant high rated recruits is alway an advantage. With the budget crises looming I"m wondering if coaches like Helton under contract with owed money will no longer be in the hot seat. I haven't heard this talked about nationally, but I wouldn't think many programs would want to eat big money on a contract with the crises. USC has mostly underperformed with high rated recruits in recent years anyway. As national writers have noticed, the Ducks are now the premier destination in the Pac now.

Go Ducks!
