Fent-man back at O-Live
just announced that Aaron Fentress is returning to The O, primarily as Blazers beat writer, but also w a focus on Ducks, Beavers, and Viks. he did a good job during his earlier tenure as Ducks beat writer, often tamping down the hysterical stuff from Canzano and Quick. hope they'll cut him loose to ride shotgun for Crepea on some UO stories.

Glad to see that. Always liked Fentress, tho didn't always agree.

That is good news. I wonder if the subscriptions are piling up and the O is putting resources back into quality regional journalism. I am on the verge of plunking down the $100, but I want to see a commitment on their end to a strong stable of writers and some good coverage. I definitely read $9.00 of content there each month...
