Experienced writers are used to reading their name and articles both vilified and honored. If this writer was so awesome, why would he / she have to be anonymous on a second-tier at best Oregon sports website like FishDuck?

I am willing to bet Mr FishDuck in order to protect his never-ending mirage of trying to portray himself as the objective site moderator, wrote the article himself because nobody violates the site's commenting rules more than he does and his right-wing wacko politics creeps into his comments ALL THE TIME. 

Wouldn't you think after 10-some years in existence Mr FishDuck would have built up a reservoir of contacts, sources and "inside information" he could bring to the site??? Especially because he is based in Eugene!

Well, Mr FishDuck apparently has zero because all his speculation based nonsense NEVER has any first-hand interviews or sources...people HE communicated with. Oh Ken Woody writes a weekly article during the football season but Woody writes nearly the same article for the RG too so it is not like he(Woody) i is some amazing scoop for FD.

He likes to rip Canzano as many do but Canzano can get Mario Cristobal on his podcast to name one example of giving readers an inside look. Why can't Mr FishDuck do that? Yet he waves his 30+ years as a season ticket holder around like he is some sort of royalty.

Mr FishDuck is the KING of hypocrisy. A wannabe Oregon sports "influencer" who only has his loyal band of troll commenters to bow down to his every silly rule to elevate him to a level of being able to self-promote himself as "Mr FishDuck." Even though "no trolling" is highlighted on the site's commenting rules...Mr FishDuck himself and about 3-5 commenters routinely troll the site...but because they most often agree with Mr FishDuck, their comments don't count as "trolling."

Since I could never post this comment on FD itself, I appreciare the platform here for allowing me to do so.

Should we challenge FishDuck to a Ducks trivia contest? Just joking of course, but it certainly could be an entertaining endeavor. 

I checked the site out a few times and read the 40 something rules including when you're suppose to put spaces in your sentence structure and whatnot. Yeah, that guy seems real full of himself. We definitely have a hands off approach since everyone can post and comment as they please. If you ever have any ideas for the site or anything feel free to message me. I enjoy and appreciate your posts on here.

1) Remember, fan boy websites like FD need Oregon sports more than Oregon sports needs them! I have no problem with sports writers, sports news outlets, sports websites, etc campaigning for sports to happen because some people are essentially lobbying for their jobs to continue. They need sports to happen both college and professional. My issue with FD is it has such a sleaze factor to it once you start reading between the lines so to speak.

2) Phil...I am not sure what else you can do. All these media outlets are grabbing at anything to publish / post. We all, presumably, morphed here from OLive and to escape Orange Army(ROFL). I have found the tranquility to be nice even if there is limited content. Plus anyone can post a link of an OLive article here and we can all discuss it in civil tones without the puppet distractions. If your goal is for people to keep checking in then perhaps a weekly post i.e. "My favorite article of the week" from another site might be a way to keep the site more active....if that is what you want. There will always be a significant number of people who only pay attention IF games are being played and since the cancellation was not simply football but M and W basketball too...you are limited in trying to create content for something which is not happening.

3) Jiffy Jeff...good analogy with Norm and Cliff. I like it.

Besides what I write about him and his fanboy website pales in comparison to how he bullies and treats others. Always a good thing to expose frauds, jerks and bullies.

While he and his site are largely irrelevant now with no Duck sports through 2020, I have no doubt his massive ego and arrogance will find a way to claim his value to Oregon Duck sports. When that happens I will enjoy sharing my thoughts on this platform. 😁
