I don't want to be too arrogant before the Pac-12 even begins playing, but the gold standard of awesome defenses, the SEC, has become a fraction of that standard.
The more I watch the Power 3 Conferences play with the BIG and Pac-12 still idle...if Avalos can have Oregon's D perform anywhere close to last season, the Ducks may have a chance at a nice season.
