Leach / Air Raid = 0 points against Alabama

Yeah Leach is in his first year at MSU yet they threw the ball 48 times with 28 completions for a meager 3.4 yards per catch and 0 points. That suggests IMMEDIATE tackling after a catch.

I still contend as I posted on OLive in the commenting days, that the Pac-12 has missed playoffs in recent years because its most senior head coaches at the time...Shaw, Petersen, Leach, Helton and Whittingham had not delivered in any big time manner...not because new coaches like Cristobal didn't call more running plays for Herbert.

Cristobal knows what it takes to build a championship PROGRAM(not just a team)...from his time at Alabama.

One ingredient is a defense which can crush an opponent at times(no defense is going to shut down its opponents every game). Avalos has Oregon headed in the direction of what Alabama did to MSU today.

I have always thought Leach was a good and entertaining head coach but nowhere near elite. Welcome to the SEC West!😂

Kiffin and Leach are now a combined 3-8
