    Super excited for Saturday! On another note, I just saw Ken Goe is retiring after 43 years. Good man, and a good reporter! I will miss him...

    I always appreciated Goe keeping track and field "alive" in the media.

    Also being able to write about Ducks and beaver sports from a distance(Portland) but not too far away from either, gave him a different perspective than most sportswriters covering teams.

    I appreciated his columns with link after link to various sports stories...to browse the internet and try to find those stories individually would be mind numbing.

    To be in one place for 43-years is an achievement by itself.

    I'm going to miss Goe. He was so dependable and counted on him just like fall weather rolling in this time of year. 43 years is something else as he's been doing this longer than I've been born!

    Besides his articles I always appreciated how humble he was and would join in on the comments with everyone else.
