The more things change the more they stay the same

Oregon in its last 3 games(UCLA, osu and Cal who had a combined 2 wins when they played Oregon) have scored a whopping 28 points in the second half including being shut out against Cal!! Shut out!? Oregon? For an ENTIRE second half against an 0-3 team?

And Moorhead is an improvement over Arroyo??? 😂😂😂 Based on what? Because he runs the QB more often?

I thought Oregon was leaving this nonsense behind...

4th Quarter... Oregon 3rd and 1 at the Cal 18 yard line... Habibi-Likio stopped for no game so in comes the always injured Verdell to get stuffed for a 1-yard loss on the same play??? And of course the play is run from the same stupid Pistol formation so Verdell is back at his own goal line when the play begins.

So Verdell is the best option?  When does Habibi-Likio ever get stopped two carries in a row for no gain?! How about Pittman or Redd with blazing speed on a jet sweep? A quick look-in slant pass?

Anthony Brown has game experiences which dwarf Shough. It is clear Shough is struggling in the second half of games(see 28 points noted above)...try something else. It is a throwaway season anyway for eligibility.

ZERO points in the second half against Cal!?! ZERO

All OC's are the same save a few outliers here and there. Neither Arroyo or Moorhead are outliers. They stick to the script; eventually wear out their welcome and move on to another job in their march to towards being multi-millionaires.

I will always admire how Chip Kelly coached to the flow / energy / momentum of the game vs trying to "establish" XYZ. That moment determined what needed to happen.

I think Cristobal is on this power run(physicality) type of scheme. He's all about the O line opening things up but its not working. It seems to me that both lines are not fully functioning. He either has to make some changes or expect to lose. I agree that the pistol isnt working for the Ducks -first off Shough is too slow handing off or too slow making a decision as what to do. #2 Shough is running when there are open receivers-even ESPN commented on that and not running when he has a clear shot like he did on that 4th and 1 that he handed off to Verdell, Shough would have easily got the first down--the Bears knew exactly what was going to happen. #3 Ducks O is way to predictable and very boring.

I would like to add that every set of sports announcers for every game have commented on open receiver's that Shough has missed. He just doesnt see the field that well.
