Urban Meyer...some people never learn
So Meyer decides to hire Chris Doyle after an "intense vetting process"(they have known each other for 20-years) which quickly creates backlash and then he becomes part of a statement after Doyle resigns(first link) in which it is noted,
"We are responsible for all aspects of our program and, in retrospect, should have given greater consideration to how his appointment may have affected all involved."
Really Urban? You didn't see how hiring Doyle would affect so many people?
Either you possess zero common sense or you are a pathological liar. But given the sleaze ball programs you ran at Florida and the luckeyes, I guess we shouldn't be shocked at all.
NOTE: The second link is about one of his teams at Florida then up until now...you can Google the topic and read all about player arrests while he was at Florida. I hope he goes 0-16 in his first NFL season.

I'm glad Meyer is out of college football.
Some folks were speculating that USC might try to hire him. I heard USC wouldn't hire him with his baggage anyway.
It's nice being a Ducks fan and having a coaching staff with good character.

Dihard Jags fan here. We were angry when he made this hire. We called in to local radio. I e-mailed the team. It didn't take long for Doyle to hear the heat and resign, but it was so ridiculous on every level. Really, Urban? This is your hire?
I used to like Urban at Utah. I think something went badly wrong at UF. Have to hope that he is entering a new coaching phase for the Jags. I mean, I have to hope...
