A brutal schedule of 7 games in 13-days(with another one tomorrow); 8 wins in the last 9 games...Dana Altman is certainly one of the very best college coaches in getting his team to play well heading into tournament time...and he has done it again this year now just a half-game out of first place. Remarkable.

offense is starting to gel. Dana's got some guys who can create their own shot and score the ball. Richardson has been a bit disappointing this year--hard to replace FastPP3. but he looked much more competent running the O last night, dished five assists, and seemed to have a notion of what they were trying to do and how to attack.
onward.

I love this team! Pom had them as a 9 seed before last night. I see them down in the 5 or 6 slot, at least. They play hard and with great chemistry...

With a Duck win over the Beavers on Sunday, they win the PAC-12 Conference. If they lose, they finish in 2nd place. On January 23rd, the short-handed Ducks fell to the Beavs 75-64. Looking back, I see why they lost. Duarte, Figueroa and Richardson did not play. Starters for the game were Omoruyi, Williams, Hardy, Lawson and Terry. Off the bench Kepnang, Estrada and Wur played. Even walk-on players Reichle and Johnson saw game time! It definitely was a depleted roster.

sixty-one percent from the field; 70 percent in the second half. forty-seven percent from Threeville. not gonna happen every night.
only 11 assists for UO, compared w 17 for BruCru. understandable cuz Ducks don't have a big man on the low block to feed. still . . . that needs to get better. Ducks can create their own shots, but in March they'll run into teams full of quick, long-armed defenders (think North Carolina in FF), and it won't end well.
haven't seen O-Live yet this a.m. is there a Canzano column about how H.o.F. coach Dana Altman is doing it again?

I find it frustrating to watch C Lawson on offense. Glad he had an effective night against the bruins with his effort and hustle.

I don't have the Pac-12 Network so I never get to see the women play.
Does anyone know why Prince doesn't start?
All I have to go on is game stats and articles.
5 days ago Prince was the Ducks leading scorer against osu coming off the bench and played 25 minutes. Today she played only 13 minutes and had 8 points which, sadly was more points than 3 starters(Boley, Scherr and Chavez) had combined(7)!
I understand Pao'Pao is injured but apparently Prince can play well against osu...start her. osu MISSED 17 of their first 19 shots and still beat Oregon?!?
Hopefully the men will do better.
