The situation encompasses 3 universities in some capacity...osu, LSU and Kansas.
I am guessing Miles will be done at Kansas.
Not sure "cover-up" is what happened at LSU but rather they just didn't care.
As for osu...looks like they messed up in the vetting process and it seems truly remarkable that a pattern of behavior over a number of years was not "sufficient evidence" for then LSU and now osu president F. King Alexander to fire Miles at the time.

I read Canzano's article. Looks like Dana's off the hook for awhile. It does sound like a bad hire for OSU, given the Brenda Tracy saga.

love it when Canzano dons The Hat of Righteousness & Moral Indignation, cuz it sits so uneasily on his little bald dome.
JC's been lamenting the state of Pac-12 football almost weekly for two years now: no dominant team that can reach the CFB playoff, no butts in seats, lack of revenue from TV contract. in other words, 'why can't the Pac-12 be more like the SEC, B12, or B1G?'
I think the answer is simple: the prezzies and chancellors of Stanford, UC-Berkeley, UCLA, UW and the rest don't want to be. successful sports teams are a nice-to-have but not essential to the mission of the university. they are not going to look the other way for a Les Miles, Urban Meyer, Art Briles, Jameis Winston or Ezekiel Elliot--at least I hope not.
Wazzu tolerated Mike Leach's behavior for several years, and what they've got to show for it is a $100-million AD deficit and a trophy from a third-tier bowl.
I personally don't care if Duck Football never plays for a 'national championship' (a Final Four in MBB or WBB would be nice, though). beat SC, Tree, UW, and the rest of our conf rivals, and get me to a Rose Bowl in Pasadena every 4-5 years. that's enough for me.

I think this is it for Les Miles. The trail is pretty well-documented.
Life is filled with moments in which we are tested. It appears that Miles pu some young people in bad spots. If the allegations are true, he leveraged his position and also created a bad environment.
Whether King looked the other way or not, he has some explaining to do. I have read his responses. He is pleading ignorance. We shall see if this lands at his desk.
Canzano will not pursue this with the fervor that he would have for Schill and UO. He just won't...

UO has given me all that I need as a fan and an Oregonian. Great university with excellent programs and laudable integrity. Go Ducks!

This situation is going to get worse before it gets better.
In the Pac-12, besides osu's hiring process of F. King Alexander, the only other stain of any magnitude that I am aware of is Sean Miller at Arizona. How is that guy still a head coach after what came out this week?
