Yes...a 7-0 shutout victory by Oregon over the 16th ranked and winners of 10 games in a row, osu...in Corvallis!
Had to chuckle reading the article and the comments by the osu head coach... apparently Oregon didn't do anything to win the game but rather it was entirely osu's poor play which was the problem.

There is also a very disappointing loss to osu in The desert.

While I'm glad to see the Ducks knock of the Beavers in baseball, I'm stunned that they didn't show up in Vegas to play a better brand of basketball. It's also eerie that OSU won two games against Oregon this season by the same scores 75-64. Were the players looking ahead to USC/Colorado, thinking the Beavers would just give up? This is their wake-up call. It will be one and done in the NCAA Tournament if they don't play with a sense of urgency.

Robert Ahlstrom is a local kid (N. Eugene HS) who had a promising 2019 and then struggled in the covid-shortened season last year. good to see him back, dealing seven shutout innings and 10 Ks v the bevo starters. also good to see Westview HS's Kenyon Yovan smacking the horsehide all over the yard, and out of it.
Dana's Cru is missing N'Faly Dante like Duck Football missed Herbs when he cracked his collarbone. there's nothing inside. no ability to defend opposing bigs when they catch the ball deep. no scoring threat--broadcasters pointed out how OS aggressively defended the perimeter w/o fear of giving up offensive boards or getting beat at the rim. Duarte can drive, finish, and dish, but nobody else can deliver what FastPP3 did last year.
whomever the Ducks draw in The Dance will have a blueprint. I love this team's hustle and intensity, but they're missing a cylinder, and getting to the Sweet Sixteen would be a miracle.
The Men of Oregon are poised to add another National Championship in indoor T&F this weekend, so that's good.

I posted my original comment with a 😉 in mind because I knew all the attention would be on the basketball results.
Plus I was copying the over used Orange Army tactic of no matter what Oregon successes were in any sport he would find a way to weave osu baseball achievements into the discussion.
Otherwise, most games in this day and age of basketball are impacted by 3 point shooting results.
Oregon beats osu on the road shooting 15-23 in threes while osu goes 4-17.
One week later Oregon shoots 6-25 while osu goes 10-19.
It seems this season the Oregon men and women basketball teams have either been really good or really bad.
Not much pressure on either team heading into the NCAA Tournament.
