Mario Cristobal is a conservative head coach in many areas...much too conservative with his philosophy on offense in my opinion but that is another topic...however he is in a good position at the moment with the QB situation.
He has a veteran, experienced QB(Brown) with no pressure in April to do anything but let Brown "run the show" while observing the others.
Brown could start tomorrow if necessary. Everything points towards Fall Camp being the time frame where the potential starter(s) separate from the backups.
