Looks like the Fuskies are having trouble with Montana

I just got home after a family get together and tuned into UCLA. My initial reaction is go Montana, but it's probably better for the Pac for them to win.

Re: Fresno State Game Chat

UCLA is playing Fresno St. 9/18. I want to see how this one plays out.

Chip's team is looking pretty good and the Ducks better make some improvements. UCLA could be a dark horse team for the Pac.

We don't look ready for prime time, but I think Fresno State is a solid team. I like that we never wavered from Brown and I appreciate the winning run, but he was very average. I counted three throws he missed, and that is without the backwards pass that went out of bounds. It will be abig week for cleaning things up.

That said, running game looked solid. Defense is plus two on turnovers. We were rolling early, which shows the potential. KT and Sewell are first-round draft choices and Wright and Flowe can play their way into that discussion. Four potential first rounders on defense is a good look.

27-0 at Autzen in our last 27 against non-conference is sweet...

GO DUCKS! I made a reservation to surprise my wife next week for our anniversary. Biggest game since 2017 and I will be diddling around in Jekyll Island. Oh, well. I hit homer when I married her...

Congratulations on your anniversary! You're a good man for putting your wife first. Have fun on Jekyll Island and join us for the cupcake game against some team with a wolf in it's name that I'm not going to look up right now for the following week.

Thank you! My daughter was invited to a birthday party and we thought she needed the social time more than we did. We moved the weekend a week so she could spend time with her peers (supervised and vaccinated, baby!), and that frees me up to chill here with the boy for Oregon/osu. Win-win!

Wife will think it's weird when I'm sneaking off for the Stony Brook tilt...

Go Ducks! Big week!
