I like the willingness to shake things up, but I think Iowa deserves to be ranked ahead of Clemson.

I'm not too bothered by Clemson's ranking. They played the current #2 and almost certainly one of the top 5 teams in the nation and barely lost to them. Everyone knows they are a great team.
The ones I don't buy are aTm and Oklahoma. Neither team has showed they are anything special. I give aTm credit for going on the road against a Power5 team, half the SEC won't do that. But they were extremely lucky to escape Colorado and I don't think there's any reason to think Colorado is particularly good. And Oklahoma has done nothing to deserve a #3 ranking.
As long as we're in the top five, I'm happy. Now, the key is, just win, baby. Win out and the rankings take care of themselves, even if Ohio State ends up not being that good this year. It's still a quality road win over a team sure to win at least 8-9 and probably more. If they win the B1G, we can probably afford a single loss in conference and still make the playoffs.
And the thing is, I think just about everyone knows that if you add maybe the best player in the country to our defense, we get more sacks and win by more. Come back, KT.

Its still to early in the season to get too riled up over rankings. Some teams will get much better and some wont.

Kirk Ferentz and Iowa are a fraud. I think in the last 10-years he has left the State of Iowa once for a non-conference game. Yes they play Iowa State every year from the Big 12 but he NEVER travels out of Iowa for non-conference games and this year is no different. No home and home with schools from other P5 conferences. Will be interesting to see if that changes with The Alliance but for now any Top 25 ranking for Iowa should have an asterisk to it. I just don't respect programs that are chicken s*** when it comes to scheduling.
