A bunch of teams looked underwhelming yesterday. Alabama jumped out to a commanding first quarter lead and was outplayed the final three quarters; Oklahoma looked average against Nebraska; Clemson only scored 14 points; Tulsa took the luckeyes to the 4th quarter...there are always a zillion problems with your team yet all the preseason chatter was Oregon needed to be 3-0 at this point to have a chance to make the playoffs...well they are!
Otherwise I think the team which may be playing better than anyone in the Pac-12 after horrible looking first game is Stanford!
First things first as Oregon needs to take care if business at home against Arizona but the following week Oregon at Stanford looks to be a real challenge. Go Ducks!
Zona first, as you say..but I agree, Stanford seems to have figured something out. Wouldn't be the first time Ducks/Tree was a big game.

How many times has Stanford played horrible in an OOC game or neglected to beat Notre Dame when it would have been helpful, totally zapping our strength of schedule, and then played out of their minds against us? If they were consistently good and won the OOC games they should and then beat us, you could at least respect that.
They also seem to have a worthless QB that loses games for them and then he gets hurt the game before ours, and the new guy plays like Superman at least for one game.

Remember the Fresno State QB, Jake Haener was beaten out for the starting job at the uw and wanted to transfer to UCLA(I noticed Chip Kelly and he had a long conversation on the field after the game) but it was blocked by the uw. Hence the article below.
