Obviously, our game at Stanford is the most important. But outside of that:
1. Ohio State at Rutgers. Rutgers is a good but not great team. If our win at Ohio State is going to look like an elite win at the end of the year, we need them to win this kind of game, on the road against good teams. We don't need them to beat Penn State and we can afford to have them lose to one of the Michigan teams, but if they lose those and to Rutgers, then the best we have is "a nice win," not an elite one.
2. Auburn at LSU. Since UCLA thumped LSU, and since we're likely to play UCLA twice (once in the conference championship), the better LSU does in the SEC, the better our strength of schedule will be. LSU may not beat Alabama and Ole Miss, but if they can at least split between Auburn and Arkansas and not drop any other games they shouldn't, that's good for our SOS.
3. Fresno State at Hawaii. Hawaii isn't particularly good this year but the trip to Hawaii is always dangerous.
4. ASU at UCLA. I expect the Bruins to win but this could be the key decider in the South.
5. Cincy at ND. Neither of these teams can catch us if we win out and Ohio State wins a few more games. Either is a threat if we drop one game and they go undefeated. One of them drops out of the picture today.

I think any game with an undefeated team or teams is important for Oregon because now teams will start losing in conference play i.e. Alabama vs Ole Miss / Georgia vs Arkansas / Baylor vs Oklahoma State...which is Oregon's advantage at the moment being the only undefeated team in the Pac-12...no other "threats" remain in terms of being undefeated. Go Ducks!

Hahaha. Could be that.
I’m just impressed by the intensity and power of the uga lines.

At this point it seems like there's a big drop off after Alabama and Georgia. I'm hoping the Ducks can improve by the end the year for a playoff win.

It's just weird, though. What's the evidence that Alabama is really that good? Florida was a good win but is Florida really all that great? I'll give you Georgia, but actually, they barely beat Clemson and that win doesn't look as impressive as it did. Georgia Tech almost beat Clemson, and by the way, also is getting pounded by a mediocre Pitt team and lost to NIU, who lost by about 648 points, give or take a few, to Michigan.
Nebraska lost worse at Illinois (who lost to UTSA) than they did at Oklahoma. Arkansas must be good because they beat up Texas -- who is struggling with a mediocre TCU today. Oregon must be great because we won on the road at Ohio State -- and then struggled to put away winless Arizona last week.
This is about the most bizarre season I remember, at this point. I don't think anyone in the Big 12 is particularly good, but if one of them goes undefeated, they may deserve to be seeded ahead of us just because the PAC is so pathetic this year. But none of them will have an OOC victory anywhere near as good as ours -- unless Ohio State implodes, of course.

This year is pretty crazy so far.
Alabama has passed the eye test to me more than anything. Perhaps todays game against #12 Mississippi will prove me wrong and shed some light on how good they really are.
