Re: Ducks healthier than all year

Thanks for that link. great to see ya here. hoping they can go down south and make a statement. I echo a lot of what i see in this forum about the offensive side of the ball. But A. Brown did connect on a long 4th quarter TD pass in which he threaded the needle in double coverage. Tough play...i like what i saw there. So maybe Christobal is right...they are feeling good right now.

Yep. If AB can continue to throw downfield like that, and do it for 4 quarters, I think the offense would be fine. Dye looked great. Nice to see ya!

A Brown stares down his receivers way too often, but I still think he’s the best guy for the job this season.
T Dye did look great but I hope some of the young RBs can spell him, otherwise he’s not going to make it through the season.

Dye did look great. I believe I heard he had 27 carries, which seems like too much. I heard some of the other backs had a good camp so I'm wondering if they can help carry the load and keep him healthy.

On AB I really don't know if he's the best option and at times have really wanted to see Ty. I've heard some defenders of AB say his doubters don't see practice and Mario would have Ty start if he is actually better. I agree we don't know, but question whether Mario might have a bias for experience and would also say that you're not at practice and wouldn't know that either.

Re: Ducks healthier than all year

Oregon had 35 rushing attempts vs Cal. Here is the breakdown of carries...

Dye-19
Brown-13
Cardwell-2
Redd-1

So much for next man up with Verdell injured.

As per AB, that may be the problem...he is better in practices than he is in games. I cannot believe if he practices like he plays in games he would be the starting QB.

Otherwise as many people have posted all over... Oregon has 4 QB's of which 2 have been on the team since before the start of the 2020 season... Butterfield and Ashford...so we are supposed to believe the coaching staff is unable to design some plays that anyone other than AB could play for a possession?

Lincoln Riley benched his starting QB for a true freshman in the middle of the Texas game and he has played great. Ohio State's starting QB had not thrown a pass in a college football game at the start of the season...have you seen their scores after losing to Oregon? We have a six-year senior who struggles to make the correct reads.

Every Oregon QB could play in games...the problem isn't how they do in practice...the problem is Mario Cristobal.

It is Mario’s team. Sorry, but you’re just going to have to live with that fact.
By the way, Mario and A Brown is 5-1, and still in the hunt for P12 championship and CFP playoffs.
