I'm hoping that Mario sees the writing on the wall in that big wins are needed to make a playoff spot.
Mario's seems to be content in the past to simply play conservative and dominate the line of scrimmage for and ugly win.
Besides the conservative play calling the players all too often come in sleep walking when inferior opponents are on the field.
After watching the last game it's clear to me we would've beat Stanford with Moorhead calling the plays. It's really unfortunate to lose an OC without notice. Thank goodness he's recovering and doing alright from whatever the ailment was.
It it possible the play calling has been rather conservative to limit TO's with AB's bad accuracy downfield? AB can make some great plays and eak out some yardage with his feet. Despite his ball velocity he has a hard time with accuracy and finding open receivers as well. The play calling might be a reflection of this.
