Actually, I am positive that's true. Herbstreit has the Buckeyes #3, for cryin out loud. I was wondering how others saw it..I'm certain the committee won't see it my way. I won't be surprised if Cincy isn't in the top 4.

Well, I was surprised to see Oregon at #4, but it's nice they're ahead of tOSU. Very surprised bama is 2nd, and Cincy got hosed, IMO.
Onward!

Us being ahead of OSU is temporary. They said they don't have a signature win. If they win out, they'll have two, against UM and MSU. Of course, if they do win out, MSU will drop lower. Right now it is highly likely that there will be one and only one B1G team ahead of us.
I've decided what the B1G needs to do for us. PSU needs to beat both Michigan schools. That knocks out UM. Ohio State needs to beat MSU. That knocks them out. And, UM needs to beat Ohio State. Ohio State will still win the East, still probably win the B1G championship, so it will still give us a great OOC win. But no B1G team will be ahead of us.
I'd also say Cincy is a real threat to pass us. They still have SMU on their schedule, and the AAC championship game, probably against Houston. Those would both be better quality wins than anything we have left on our schedule. And the committee likes ND more than I thought they would, so they'll like Cincy's win over them.
Oklahoma is also a real threat. They are ranked low because they haven't beaten anyone. They still have Baylor, OkSt, and Iowa State left. And then the B12 championship against one of those teams. They'll gain some credibility if they get through that unbeaten.
Don't assume we're in if we win out, just because we're in the top four. I think we still need some help. Other teams are going to be racking up some good signature wins in the next few weeks and we don't have any left on our schedule.
It would help a lot of Stanford beats ND, because it would ding Cincy's resume and make our loss to Stanford not look quite as bad.

what DITM said ^^
looks like Rose Bowl, even if we win out. there are worse fates.

#4 is nice surprise! But like you guys said, still a lot of work to do, and some help needed. Hoping the progress the O had made will continue on it’s upward trajectory and no more injuries on the D. They’re really getting beat up!
Go Ducks! Huck the fuskies

Alright, #4!
I thought ORG's 6th place was a good bet and number 5 would be the best we could hope for.
I would've thought it would be hard to not let us in if we win out. It sounds like a lot of you are saying the strength of schedule for teams behind us could bump us out. Another Alabama loss would seemingly really help matters. Thank you DITM for keeping us posted on all the potentials.
