Re: Washington Game Chat

I REALLY was hoping M Cristobal would have stuck it in the fuskies face with those last 8 seconds and go for a TD.

Def has been the strength of the team this whole year and they won it again yesterday.

A Brown played another smart and mature game. Why throw the ball when the run couldn’t be stopped and the weather was awful. Glad he wasn’t chucking it when it wasn’t needed, just to prove something. The name of the game was to get a win.

Love Cristobal’s passion for football, the rivalry, and for being a Duck.
Go Ducks!!

Re: Washington Game Chat

If I had any hair, I would have yanked it all out watching this game. The officiaiting was awful! This officiating crew should have just let the review booth make all damn the calls.

The Pac officials have been for the most part way to happy to throw flags with phantom calls.

They're often really really slow to figures things out and get the game going again.

It was so frustrating with the Stanford game in that the let the DBs play as they should and then decided to throw flags for Stanford on their last drive. Nobody throws flags for 4th in goal end of game unless go literally tackle the receiver before the ball gets their. Plus, whatever conference would have their refs making unfavorable calls against their one playoff team in the conference.

The Pac doesn't pay their refs well and it shows.

HA! I like it!

From James Crepea:
“We weren’t trying to run the clock out at all,” offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead said. “We were trying to punch the ball in. (Anthony Brown Jr.) was waiting for Alex Forsyth to make his line calls there, for the blocks to be made. Unfortunately we didn’t have an opportunity to snap it. We were attempting to snap the ball and score, but the clock ran out before we could get it snapped.”

Re: Washington Game Chat

It becomes clear why Lake decided to punt it away...  He knew the Ducks were going to rub it in if they got the ball back on a failed 4th down conversion.  Literally decided that a chance at saving face was a better option than giving his team one last crack at starting a game tying drive.  After that and the player slapping incident, there is no way this guy will ever have that locker room again.  My bet is he is out by Thursday, making the state of WA 0-2 on coaches finishing their seasons...  CRAZY!!!!!!!!
