Virginia Tech fires head coach / Braxton Burmeister
For those interested in former Duck players, it is noted that Burmeister has "struggled."
Also it is an example of how an overall good W-L record does not necessarily tell the full story.
I don't follow Va Tech and when I began reading the article I was thinking, "This guy has done a pretty good job at two different schools. There are Pac-12 schools who would love to have these numbers."
Then "the issues" come to surface. Particularly 43 transfers!?! Yet I can't believe he will be unemployed long.

Yikes!! 43 transfers is kind of amazing. Always tough to replace a legend. Lots of job openings, tho I doubt MC is going anywhere, some assistants probably will, as OMM was saying.
