Re: Ducks are Rose Bowl Champs

What a great win! If we have credible QB play next year, we can do this again. That Ohio State game is a hurdle, but it's one that I both welcome and expect to win.

Go Ducks! Proof of concept in Mario's vision is winning these last two games. Awesome!

Re: Ducks are Rose Bowl Champs

I am happy that the Ducks pulled this one out but with the Badger's four turnovers it dampens the excitement just a bit.  If you told me in late August that Oregon would end the season 12-2 with a Rose Bowl win I would be sky high.  Now we will see who decides to forego their senior season. All in all, a very successful year.  Don't look now, but the Ducks Basketball season starts tomorrow in Boulder.  I hope C.J. Walker's back problem is minor and wondering how long before we see Shakur Juiston back in the lineup.  Go Ducks!

I agree. Mario's vision worked. 12-2, PAC-12 and Rose Bowl Champs. Way beyond my expectations for this season. How bout that Defense!!!

Donā€™t think weā€™re going to lose a lot to early departures or the portal. Maybe, and only maybe, Jordon and Graham. I expect everyone else to be back.

Jaylon Redd? Iā€™m trying to fathom ā€œpersonal reasonsā€ to miss this game, but there may be something valid, or it may be something more telling.

In any event, we return a lot of pieces next year. Looking forward to seeing where this goes next.

I hope the Ducks arenā€™t serious about that grad transfer, J Newman. I hope Coach Cristobal sticks with the home grown, Tyler Shough.

I'll be interested to see what happened. Pittman was great.

Re: Ducks are Rose Bowl Champs

Perfect ending for the Oregon football season; the careers of the seniors and the OLive comment section!

Guess what happens tomorrow at 6 am? Trash pickup!? All the beaver comment garbage is going to the dump to be with their football program!

Congratulations Oregon!

Perfect timing for olive to shut it down. On the eve the Ducks win the Rose Bowl. Turn out the lights as Duck fan celebrates and Mr. Popes is left wandering in the dark. Man this tastes good!

Re: Ducks are Rose Bowl Champs

I remember the Oregonian had the Utah Utes at 10 feet tall and the Wisconsin Badgers at 12 feet tall.Ā  No one could beat them!Ā  Yet, the Ducks did.
