From John Walters’ Bubble Screen column:

“The B.S. Wonders…

Why doesn’t Chick-Fil-A launch an NIL campaign around anonymous FBS players with the theme “They Won’t Be Working On Sundays, Either?”…”

It’s actually not a bad idea, LOL. But more to your point, it reminded me the huge income disparities that will exist.

😂 @ not working on Sunday. Yeah...I think it is like 1.5% of eligible college football players are drafted each year by the NFL...that is just drafted...not making the team.

So for the overwhelming majority of college athletes as a whole, an NIL deal may be as close to "professional" money as they experience.

Yet it makes you wonder how a school like WSU can compete in a NIL world?

There is no longer the P5 and the G5, there will be the Haves and Have Nots…. The game has been nakedly eclipsed by the money, the only real comfort in this is seeing all of it on the table anymore.  Year One was a mixed bag, pretty sure this gets…. interesting…. from this point forward…

The disparities will exist in the locker room as well. Sure, they always have, but when you're talking millions...
