Unfortunately we won’t see Ty unless it’s the last minute or 2 of the game.

That would be one helluva kick in the junk to the fan base by these lame duck coaches (no pun intended)…

To me, the D is the problem tonight. Not to bash on them, I realize they are really shorthanded on that side.

I agree, you see it at every position from up front to the corners. Just having Sewell bringing pressure and then losing him really hurts.

Has anyone noticed how efficient the officiating is? Not a bunch of endless flags, video reviews, and discussions go quickly for a change.

Saw this tweet and loving it:

I’m not looking at the score. I’m looking at who is still fighting and playing hard. {duck} {100} emoji's.

Nice! I wonder what Lanning is thinking? Perhaps he opens a bottle of cheap whisky and puts on the Bad News Bears tonight for inspiration next year.

I was just talking about this too LOL.

So Seven is the seventh child in his family. Guess his parents weren’t Seinfeld fans after all.

Re: Alamo & Anniversary Game Chat

I think we've thrown it down the field more in this game than several other games combined. Wish we could have seen this all season. Our young recievers are the real deal...I'm excited for next season.

The offense came alive for once.

I knew the defense was struggling, but didn't realize it was so bad to the point Oklahoma scored 8 straight drives.

Re: Alamo & Anniversary Game Chat

With a chance to go down the field and get this to one score, the old AB shows up…

Me too. Players out, coaching upheaval, yet they’re looking better than they did in the Utah games (unless Utah is better than Oklahoma?). Either way, there’s just a different feel to the game.

Re: Alamo & Anniversary Game Chat

Hats off to Stoops. Who would've like to have seen Bellotti step in for the Ducks?

I feel like our question if Mario was hurting the offense was answered with a resounding yes.

Still of big ??? at backup QB

Re: Alamo & Anniversary Game Chat

Never got our young QBs meaningful playing time; still, if most of these kids stay, we have a pretty talented group. Been a strange season, but we all can remember when a 10 win season was only a dream. Beat the Beavs and Huskies, plus the Buckeyes...gotta like that.

It would have been awesome to have Mike coach against B Stoops in this game.
Mario wasn't coaching this game and yet there still wasn't a QB change, so I can't agree with your second point.
#3, I agree 100%. I'm really pulling for whichever current QB stays, to handily beat out B Nix next season.

I'm glad D Williams wasn't playing tonight. A Brown had to look for other receivers and we saw the potential of the young pass catchers.
Scoring 32, respectable. Giving up 47, work needed. Glad we have a Def HC coming on board.

Thanks guys! Signing off for the night. Okole maluna! (bottoms up!)
