Last nights game was a good one!

Richardson is starting to take over like we thought he would before the season started.

It's nice to see Dante healthy and playing really well. A lot of other players are stepping up too.

Dana's teams somehow manage to keep getting better as the season goes on. Like last night they tend to come out of halftime playing well. All signs of a really good coach.

Go Ducks!

Great wins and unfortunately it shows how far the regular season of college basketball has dropped off the radar(corresponding with a rise in the NFL).

Oregon goes on the road and in a span of 48-hours beats 2 LA teams ranked #3 and #5 in the nation...yet national news / excitement on it? Fairly tame.

Back in the day this would have been the lead sports story.

Also awesome comeback win for the Oregon women being down 17 to Top Ten ranked Arizona.

Go Ducks!

Re: Pretty good weekend for Oregon basketball

After the Ducks beat the Beavers by two points, I was resigned to the fact this was not a good Duck team this year.  As OldMacManaic posted, it was tough to watch, hard to tell who was the 3-10 team. The Beavers only have three players on their team that I believe are Division I caliber.  The rest are simply minor role players.  Having said that, these guys were taking it to the Ducks for the entire game.  Fast forward a week and Coach Altman and his guys have proved me wrong once again.  I was giddy watching them knock off both LA schools.  And it was priceless listening to Bill Walton realizing his Bruins were going down to defeat. Go Ducks!
