Re: Mario gets Oregon OL transfer, but still no OC

Having most of our O line return is both good and bad, as kids who thought they were going to move up will likely sit: still, I'd rather have the experience. Surprised at the lack of OC..maybe MC will be his own play caller. Not too hard to call a dive play

Re: Mario gets Oregon OL transfer, but still no OC

I think the word is out on MC's approach to offense. He can no longer hide behind "physicality" on the OL; a "process" and his belief that a run only and occasionally throw as pass is what it takes to be a national power. And as Mycah Pittman so succinctly said, "It is never going to change."

If you were an OC would you want him as your head coach?!? Not me.

The fact he is nearly 2-months on the job with no OC hire to run his 1950's offense says it all.

Reading all the jokes and comments regarding his OC search has been entertaining to say the least.

McClendon already looking at UGA to be their WR coach.  Might not be a co-OC job, but it might be a better fit for an offense that utilizes a passing game.

Then we might be meeting him again when Oregon plays Georgia. Between the coaching carousel and transfer portal, more and more games will be reunions (of sorts).

Re: Mario gets Oregon OL transfer, but still no OC

McClendon is gone and Mario still doesn't have an OC? I haven't bothered to look at Mario's situation until this morning and the Canes fans will be in for a big surprise from the comments I'm reading. Their fans think we're so jealous and starting rumors about MC being a micromanager and all! They still think MC is the second coming of Saban.

Well I guess they now have an OC albeit in name only ...if this guy thinks he wasn't appreciated at Michigan...wait until he experiences "Mario ball" at Miami! 😂

Dude burned down the house he just left.  And after signing day no less...  Harbaugh might be rethinking that Viking job he punted on...
