Some more positive stuff about the new offense..it sounds good, tho the proof comes next fall.

Yep, we won't know for sure until the fall.
However, I've been encouraged by both what I'm hearing and the recruitment on the offensive side of the ball. When DL got hired the notion was he could probably recruit well on the defensive side of the ball, but with LC at USC the offensive recruiting was perceived to be a question mark. It's safe to say the players and recruits are buying into the offense.
Talks about being aggressive, using TE's and running backs more on offense all seems good. At the very least it sounds a heck of a lot more entertaining to watch. Last week Colin Cowherd said the USFL has a chance to attract fans since enough QB talent trickles down and it's QB play that makes the game entertaining to watch. It made me think of the Ducks and how lackluster and boring their offensive was to watch with play at QB position in the last few years.
As others have mentioned it's just talk for the moment. I think it was Mike Tyson that said everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.
I know the lack of experience on the coaching staff is still a concern, but you at least have to be excited about something new as opposed to running the ball up the middle from shotgun and passing sideways behind the line of scrimmage, because the play calling is so predictable and nobody else is open.
Go Ducks
