One of the best things besides the great users we have on here is that The Duck Room is completely free. Always has been and always will be. Don't be shy as everyone can post your latest thoughts on the Ducks. Just see the few simple rules below.

1. Common sense community standards apply.
2. Posts of political nature of post that would lead to such matters do not belong here, there's a whole internet for that.
3. Fans of different teams are allowed here as are difference of options, however trolling is not tolerated.
4. We have to abide by copyright laws, which means quoting an articles story and posting links works. On the contrary copy and pasting entire copyrighted stories is against the rules.

Casey Martin piece in GolfD

https://www.golfdigest.com/story/rebuilding-casey-martin-suing-pga-tour-right-to-use-cart
good story. tough hombre.
I've disliked the zine for decades; at least it's free just for being an OGA member. but since Mr. Adler (who also wrote the piece) took the editorial helm a few years back, there's been major improvement. they've taken on some difficult and controversial topics, rather than churn the saccharine apologias for the players and the PGA Tour poobahs.
wonder who's going to show up at Pumpkin next week for Saudi Invitational?

Re: Casey Martin piece in GolfD

Free agency has arrived in the sport of golf and while not a golfer myself, I have found the PGA reaction to players moving to the LIV to be childish... particularly Jay Monahan(You are not making your sport more attractive by your ranting and raving).

It is called having the right to choose where you want to work and I believe the majority of people, golfers and non-golfers, would opt to make more money with less work.

Otherwise great to see a professional golf tournament coming to Oregon 😁
