PK prefers the B1G scenario
I'm not putting everything I see about this situation up here, but I thought this was relevant enough.

The version of this news I read said he wanted the B1G or SEC. I really hope it’s not the latter. What a culture clash.

I heard the same and also heard the SEC isn't interested anyway.
The B1G sure knows how to keep a secret.
One constant is that nobody has shown how the math works in the B1G's favor to add the Ducks. Estimates could be something like a 6-8 cut to each team in the B1G if the Ducks and Fuskies join. They don't seem to really need us.

So we all know this is about TV markets, but has anyone read anything about how time zones factor in? Lots of PAC-12 games were relegated to "after dark" so the networks could fill as many time slots as possible. Will USC never have to play home games at 7PM? Or are the powers that be hoping Midwest and East Coast viewers will stay up late to watch Ohio St. or Rutgers play USC?

Good questions, but I doubt anyone knows the answers yet. This is all about money and greed, so really all else is up in the air. I do expect, whichever way the Ducks go, we'll eventually be seeing a lot of late starts

B1G could work out really well for Ducks & Duck fans on the game times. if we're playing Iowa or Purdue or Maryland in Autzen, can't see game starting much later than 5 pm, maybe 6 pm at the latest. I could live with that.
there would be no reason for 7:30 starts to fill Left Coast time slots. maybe Ducks play UW at 7 or 7:30, but most games would be daytime or late-afternoon starts.
