One issue here for me would be TV and bowl game money distribution. As it states, Oregon and that team up north have been the main drivers of income in those areas. Why should we split evenly with Cal, or several others in the league? This is all money driven, and I still think we need to keep our options open for as long as possible. I know Wilner wants the PAC to stay together, and I understand why, but I just don't think that long term that is a viable option unless none other exists.

And that is EXACTLY the same argument being used AGAINST Oregon by some B10 schools according to articles I have read!? Why should Oregon just waltz into the B10 and get the same distribution $$$ when they have a stadium that isn't even in the Top 50 capacity-wise; a small TV market, a region (PNW) that doesn't have a lot of great recruits, etc.
The fact is, Oregon doesn't have a lot of $$$ clout in some of these areas and they will not go to the B10 and drive big numbers.

All very true, tho there are several B1G teams with smaller stadiums. Oregon does bring a lot of eyeballs however. It's ranked in the top 20 for most views. This whole deal is a mess, but unless the ACC, Big12, and PAC join together to form another super conference, picking the best teams only, I don't see any way Oregon stays relevant on the national stage other than getting into the B1G or SEC, which is a very remote possibility I would think.
