Re: Ten bold predictions from Matt Prehm

I will take #5 (TEs) and #8 (DBs) and gladly go my way.

Yep. Use the TEs more, especially as "hot" recievers, and have a ball hawking secondary...pretty ideal. I think that secondary will be helped by a better push from our D line. I think the D line transfers will have a big impact .

Re: Ten bold predictions from Matt Prehm

1) Is Nix a junior or senior...I have read both? I thought he was a junior i.e. Covid year doesn't count but I read he graduated from Auburn so he is a senior even though he hasn't redshirted and only played 3 years.... including Covid year.

2) Otherwise yes bold predictions for a team which last lost in the Alamo Bowl and had almost all of those who scored TD's last season no longer on the team this year...yet no mention of USC being a factor...despite hiring Lincoln Riley; having Oklahoma's starting QB transfer in along with Oregon's best all around offensive player...like Utah is already anointed the best?!?

3) I don't believe Oregon's only conference losses will be Utah(regular season and conference championship). The Pac-12 is not THAT bad. Road games in Pullman, Berkeley, Tucson and Corvallis.

4) Stars WILL emerge on offense but far too much inexperience(less than 10 TD's return from last year) and very little in Dillingham's tenure at FSU supports Prehm's "bold" predictions on that side of the ball. DC's in the Pac-12 are not incompetent. Remember Dillingham has never called plays on his own in games at Auburn or FSU. Coaching experience matters.

5) If Lanning equals Helfraud's win total it will be one of the greatest coaching achievements in college football history for a first-year head coach.

I believe there will be 1 non-conference loss; 1 conference road game loss; possibly 1 home game loss(Utah) and / or 1 first-year head coach mistakes loss.
