12 team playoff coming in 2026...maybe 2024
Who knows what the status of the Pac-12 will be by then but one thing is for sure...as soon as its implemented, "it should be sixteen teams" complaints will start rolling in!😱🤔😂

How true. Ken Goe was advocating for 16 teams a few years ago.Â

You're definitely not able to make everyone happy no matter what you do.
Overall I'll take the playoff expansion. This should help make other conferences still feel relevant in that they have a team going.
I'm not sure the quality of games will be all that great. Of course a lot of the playoff games haven't been good either. Bowl games have been going down hill and they may never have been that great so you might as well go all in for the playoffs.Â
It's good for the Ducks and the Pac if they stay together. The latest rumors suggest otherwise. I read earlier that the fuskies are talking with the B1G and the word is it could be Ducks, fuskies, Cal, and Stanford. Who knows though. I got tired of posting rumors from college insiders about expansion talks.Â
