Nix was Oregon's leading rusher

Nix had the most carries(8) and the most yards(37).

Meanwhile Dollars and Cardwell each had half those carries(4) for 33 and 28 yards respectively.

Memo to Dillingham:

I know you are just 32-years old, the Georgia game was your first ever calling plays on your own and Nix is your buddy...but PLEASE get the ball in the hands ASAP of RB's who are faster, quicker and better athletes than Nix(which is every RB). Never again for the remainder of the season should Nix lead the team in carries and yards.

And in a tip of the cap nod to the importance of coaching, Georgia's second leading receiver in receptions and yards, sophomore Ladd McConkey, came to Georgia has a 3* 160lbs recruit.

Re: Nix was Oregon's leading rusher

To add to your case I just read a surprising statistic "UO ran for 4.52 yards per carry, the most allowed by UGA since Oct. 19, 2019"

It's hard to see why the run wasn't utilized more. Georgia fell for a few tricks early and adjusted real quickly with the pass. Downfield recievers never seemed open and it didn't look like Oregon's recievers were capable of winning any jump balls downfield. Some of the short passes did work so I don't blame using the strategy at times. At least mix it up some more with the run.

Let's hope for a more balanced offense moving forward.
