The Ducks should have an opportunity to find their identity.
Smokey and hot weather in Eugene. Send your good thoughts and thanks to the hundreds of firefighters trying to hold off the Cedar Creek fire approaching the now evacuated areas around Oakridge. My friends wife is from Oakridge and has family there. I was just camping at Waldo Lake early August before the fire started.
I think we'll be in store for a much better game today. Go Ducks!

Regardless of the competition, this is refreshing. Get Nix some confidence and chemistry with his recievers: Franklin looking good.

I'm glad to see the defense making tackles. It looks like a different team from last week.

One mark of great teams is they quickly(first-half) bury opponents they should bury accordingly.
We know this was a problem with Oregon last year.
So from that context this game looks very good so far🙏
Although EW against Oregon looks like Oregon did against Georgia last week!
Otherwise how about WSU beating Wisconsin on the road?😁 And last week Arizona beat Pac-12 nusance of recent years, San Diego State on the road too😁 MAYBE the Pac-12 has a little more bravado this season 🙏

Very true on buryingying teams early. In addition you can't let up in the second half, which was a problem under Mario.
Yeah, good for WSU. Their defense looks great. It's not going to be an easy one for the Ducks

I've enjoyed the mic and hearing what DL has been telling players. I like his mindset. Aggressive while not being degrading towards players to motivate them.

Pretty much the way you would want it to go. Much improved tackling, good offense and defense, score a bunch, get your backups plenty of PT. We'll see next week where we really stand.

The game certainly wasn't a priority for the Pac-12 Network i.e. announcers were not at the game but were broadcasting it remotely.
How you can tell...
+Blue backdrop for the announcers...no regular shots of the two of them "in the booth" or of the assistant coaches working "upstairs."
+Basically one camera angle only.
+No sideline reporter to interview coaches at halftime or end of the game.
+No follow-up info pertaining to the game...did you notice how there was zero follow-up on McGee's injury?? Because they are broadcasting based on the same thing we see...watching on TV.
+SLOW to notice / mention JB in the game.
+Post game interview with Nix who was wearing a headset talking to the guys in the studio in San Francisco.
Lots of signs they are not in Autzen despite tricks to make you feel otherwise as in Lanning wearing a microphone.

The PAC-12 network sucks!

The future of broadcasting. They've been doing that for a while and I think the Pac was one of the first.
I would assume they'll still do onsite coverage for big day games? I can't find any info on this.
The Blazers were planning to do studio broadcast for all road games until everyone raised a big stink about it. It's pretty ridiculous that the highly profitable Blazers with a billionaire owner thought they needs to cheapen the production.
As bad as the remote coverage was last night I'll take it over ESPN's late night coverage last year. Remember the cheap and limited cameras that looked like they were from the 90's last year? JC called them out last year, which they tried to deny at first. I'd much rather have FOX or another entity media deal if the Pac remains in tact or wherever the Ducks go for that matter.
