Go Ducks!

Evening!

I have been remiss in getting in here to spend time with all of you fine folks over this past year. Just so much going on with work and family stuff (coaching, camping, fishing, hiking, and travel--much of it back to Oregon), but it's great to check in and see so many familiar faces. I hope you all are doing well!

We hosted a sizable party here for the opener with so many UGA fans (and a close buddy from the Detroit Lake area that wore a sweet UO shirt!), and that was a downer, but my wife put out a huge spread and we all ate and drank and had a great time, despite the outcome.

That said, these past two games have given me so much to excited about. Our defense looks fast and talented. Our offense has moved the ball well and even Nix looks pretty good against two good teams (EWU is a very solid team). I'm impressed by our young wideouts. I was glad to see Hutson get that first touch against BYU, and it was  a tone-setter against a very talented team. I hear that Cardwell and Flowe are both back out on the practice field, and we'll need them in what is always one of our stickiest games of the year. Can't wait for Saturday.

I hope you all are doing well. Let's keep valuing the ball (Nix hasn't made any more of those crazy throws in these last two very complete games), feeding Ferguson, Franklin, Hutson, and Thornton, and let's get after those Cougs up there on The Palouse.

GO DUCKS!

It's good to hear from you. We saved your seat. As somebody mentioned before this site is kind've like a virtual Cheers for Ducks fans.

It sounds like you you've been keeping busy and having fun. I saw your Jags got a game and will be facing the Chargers Sunday.

Go Ducks!

Re: Go Ducks!

Evening,

Yes, things are good. Thankful for that, and nice to see the ORG and Phil again!

You know, I LOVE west coast football. I don't want to go to the BIG-10. I know that is how things are shaping up, but if we keep everyone together and add SDSU, Fresno, UNLV, and Boise State, we have a great conference.

Hope all is well, ORG! I have enjoyed the new stewardship of this fine football program so far. With each passing week, it's clear to me that UGA is on a different level...

Hey, Brother! Yes, we got a tussle coming up in LA. Love my Jags, but not like I love my Ducks!
