Wilner: Pac-12 strongest it has been in years

As usual a good column by Wilner. I always appreciate his combination of statistics and facts presented with reasonable conclusions void of emotion and hyperbole.

Interesting to learn the uw has yet to play a road game(somewhat tempers their 4-0 start).

Also that at the moment he doesn't believe Oregon can make the Playoffs even if they run the table because the loss to Georgia was so lopsided.

He MAY be right BUT at only 4 games into the season...perhaps other teams will stumble with bad or one-sided losses and Oregon at 12-1 might be a viable Playoff team. However, there is a LONG WAY to go for that discussion.

The one intangible in all of this and Wilner knows it...winning fuels confidence...so even facts can be neutralized...uw no road games; UCLA soft schedule; Oregon blowout loss to Georgia, etc.

My favorite section of the article are the two paragraphs which begin with...

"This is what the top of a Power Five conference is supposed to look like, folks."
