    Wilner's mid-season report

    As always with any Wilner column, you learn something new /surprising.

    For example Utah ranks 100th in the country in yards per play ALLOWED...a drop of 60 spots compared to last year.

    Did find it a little surprising that Lanning isn't even in their Top 4 for Coach of the Year in the Pac-12.

    Overall though it nice to be reading about overwhelmingly positive information about the Conference.

    I knew Utah looked worse on D this year, but 100th is still surprising.

    I don't see how you can't consider DL for coach of the year. If the Ducks keep playing like they have he's going to get a lot of respect nationally by the end of the year.

    It is nice to see the conference doing well. Does anyone know if how this has translated into TV viewership?
