Yeah, terrible play call. Bucky is averaging 6 YPC...there are consequences for running the QB like that. He should have never lowered his shoulder. Come on D!!

Well, crap. That sucks! We were so close; maybe let your RBs carry the ball instead of the QB. Forsythe was a warrior. Heal up and prepare for Utah.

We need to bench Ty. Totally worthless. Send him packing. We are slamming the run all over them and Ty enters, we can’t get 10 yards in 3 downs, then has no threat of a keeper, defense stacks the box and RB slips. Total crap. We should have never lost that game. If Nix wasn’t hurt (didn’t like the play call, should have rolled out), I’m thinking we get the TD. Worst case we drive and get the winning FG. Defense fails. Back up QB fails.
If Nix isn’t back, we loose out. Said it. Bet on it. It might be Dennis Dixon all over again.

When Nix was in the tent I was thinking the same thing in that even if we squeak this one out we're dead in the water for the rest of the season if Nix is hurt.

This one should be a real learning experience for the coaches more than anything.
Coming out strong and getting a win next week will make me feel a lot better about things.

Lanning out coached himself with terrible ST calls and plays. Onside kick call was terrible and the multiple oob kickoffs gave UW plenty of head starts against a not yet ready for prime time defense. DeBoer kept it simple and escaped…

Lanning's "smart coaching" streak was bound to hit a snag but for the life of me, I will never understand why he chose the first half of the uw game to start "gimmick coaching."
And Oregon still has a backup QB problem...you can take Cristobal's and Lanning's approach and avoid it as much as possible but at some point, it is going to come back and bite you where it hurts. Where is Butterfield? It is simply bad coaching.
But the good news is Oregon can still win the Pac-12 Championship with 1 loss in Conference play. No wiggle room but if we beat Utah and osu and we are in the Championship Game regardless of what happens with USC and UCLA.😁
