Yikes!!
Anyone watch the "contest" last night with UC Irvine?
Holy hell, that was just an abysmal performance by the Ducks. Gotta place a lot of blame with Dana here. I tire of the excuses with injuries etc... There is NO excuse for just plain not showing up to compete.
The continual early season struggles of mens BB is getting old. Why does it always take his teams 3 months to gel? Constant transfers don't help.

I watched and decided I was too tired to go on a rant last night.
It looks like things have even gotten worse from last season. They seem hopeless from long range and lack other options to score. Dante was trying and unfortunately I just don't think he's cut out to be a big time scorer down low.
The worst thing of all is how much they got out hustled. U.C. looked like they cared a heck of a lot more. Dana has often turned teams around in the past, but you have to wonder what the season is going to look like with a permermance like that.

I was also too tired to post last night. And my comments would have been flagged and cancelled! Two words come to mind, disappointment and disgusting. I completely agree with you guys, Duckball and Phil. I can accept a loss if my team played their hearts out, hustling for loose balls, banging the boards, showing a desire to win. Didn't see that with the Ducks last night. Give credit to U.C.Irvine. They came to play. I turned the game off a few minutes into the 2nd half. Not going to waste my time watching that. And Oregon had better wake up soon. After a contest with Montana State, they face #3 Houston then Connecticut and Alabama or Michigan State. It could get ugly if they don't gel this next week.

If we get embarrassed badly, it's time for Altman to take a long hard look in the mirror.
I hope for the best. We have talent for sure. But this team will only go as far as Will Richardson takes them. And that, my friends is the crux of the problem.
