all kinds of info out there this morning, some of it conflicting. link below is to SC fan page & Wilner sub-set.
Ducks need to take care of lowly beavs Sat afternoon. if not, sounds like Utes play SC in P-12 championship, assuming UU win over Buffs (given) and UW win over Wazzu (go Cougs).
I like our personnel matchup w OS; they have no vertical pass game. we should be running the ball at will and finishing drives with TDs. I expect a tough game, but the matchup favors Ducks.

So basically win and we're in, with a chance to go to the Rose Bowl and stick it to the trojans!!!

Sure glad we don't have Mario as coach!! Miami got clobbered yesterday by Clemson by 30 points. Reminds us of Utah beating the Ducks last year? I watched the Ducks game this morning as it was a 10:30 start here, way past my bedtime! I was surprised Bo started but really enjoyed condensing the game to just over an hour!
Mario may have only one more year to turn things around. He lost a 5 star quarterback recruit this week (Rashada) maybe to the University of Florida. That would hurt! SO glad Lanning is using the talent on the team. It was great to see the defense step up. On to the Beavs and Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Go Ducks!

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, FD. I hate those late starts, and being 75 doesn't help

1) The ONLY reason there are different scenarios is because of Oregon's loss to the uw. Had the Ducks won that game the Pac-12 Championship Game would already be determined i.e. USC v Oregon.
2) USC will not be resting any starters, presumably, as they have a much improved Notre Dame to play this week with Playoff hopes still alive.
3) While I don't think there will be a significant home field advantage for osu with half the stadium under construction...this is no wimpy team...Top 3 in the Pac-12 in Total Defense, Passing Defense and Rushing Defense. Their weak spot and perhaps lucky for Oregon is they are ranked #11 in Passing Offense vs Oregon ranked #11 in Passing Defense.
With a healthy Nix that would be the difference maker but if he is still "limited"...plus being the rivalry game...which Lanning has yet to experience at Oregon...we could easily see a third consecutive tight game.
4) Interesting comment by Lanning how the "Pac-12 after dark" probably helped Oregon / Nix as he had the entire day to keep rehabbing. One of those situations where fans dislike is a like for the team.

Hi Florida Ducks, I figured you'd be watching the game today. I barely made and caught myself nodding off a few times.
I saw the Miami score earlier and was thinking the same thing that if he was coach yesterday's would've been a big loss.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving too.
