The Coaches poll has it right with Oregon ranked higher than Tennessee after the latter's blowout loss yesterday (AP has Tennessee ranked above Oregon)...but both polls have a 3-loss UCLA team in the Top 20 to say nothing of USC and Oregon being in the Top 10; followed by the uw, Utah and then osu in the Top 25.
The Pac-12 is getting the respect it deserves this season.
And make no mistake, the reasons why are simple...3 of the 6 teams(Oregon, uw and USC) have new head coaches who each brought in Transfer Portal QB's.
Honestly, I don't think any of those 3 teams would be enjoying their current successes without Nix, Penix Jr and Williams respectively.
Then you have Utah and UCLA with veteran head coaches and experienced QB's along with osu where Smith has slowly and steadily built a solid program.
Only the SEC can realistically argue as to having more depth...the Pac-12 has half the Conference ranked in the Top 25 after Week 11! NOBODY predicted that would happen this season.

Yeah. It's been a great season for the Pac12 and the timing is good because of the ongoing media rights negotiations.
It would be SO infuriating to have one of the conference traitors (USC) win the conference this year.
If we beat the Beevs and Bo is closer to 100% I like our chances.

Dang, just realized the championship game is FRIDAY Dec 2nd. So not even a full week to rest up after Civil War, should we win.
Ankle injuries are notoriously nagging injuries that can take a long while to heal.
I think as long as Bo can improve enough that he is mobile in pocket and has escape-ability, but lacks breakaway speed we still might be ok?
