Just a heads up: message boards are saying it's Dilly to ASU as their HC. Guess we'll see. Might announce tomorrow, so just thought I'd mention it.

Hoping this news is true🙏

Oh he is all good when he has a lead but when it is "gut check" time...too many questionable decisions.

The problem is Lanning is neither an offensive coach or a defensive coach...a head coach by title but he doesn't have the skill set for either side of the ball...so it will be interesting to see what he does if the news is true.

How many OC's would've put up 40+ points per game with a bunch of new players this year? It could be a lot worse with someone else next year.

Yeah, but I’m getting tired of this coaching-carousel. Sure he had high scoring games, but I’m with DR, too many questionable calls. He lost us two winable games this year, and probably called a play that got our game-changing QB hurt.

Re: Gameday Chat

College football needs to put an end to this near-end-of-season coaching shift. Not fair to the players, let alone fans. Put some guide rails on this crap. Maybe he was distracted in both practice and calling plays?  Ducks get screwed again, now for two years in a row, at least partially to coaches chasing fame and fortune.

And teams keep hiring their coaches earlier and earlier, presumably to get a jump on the coaching search.
