Never did I imagine even a week ago the Pac-12 Championship Game would be USC vs Utah!
Especially when you look at the other P5 championship games...
SEC / Georgia 12-0 vs LSU 9-3
ACC / Clemson 10-2 vs North Carolina 9-3
Big 12 / TCU 12-0 vs Kansas State 9-3
Little Ten / Michigan 12-0 vs Purdue 8-4
Oregon at 10-2 vs USC at 11-1 would have been viewed nationally as THE GAME. Note: I am trying not to think about how much Lanning really screwed Oregon. He hurt Oregon more than the opponents did.
I will be pulling for USC because I want the Pac-12 represented in the Playoffs. I believe if all the undefeated favorites win...Georgia, TCU and Michigan...a one-loss USC gets in over a one-loss luckeyes who didn't make their conference championship game. If that happens that means the luckeyes are back to the Rose Bowl vs Utah / uw / osu...not sure how that selection process would work.

I'm still rooting for Utah. Since USC is leaving that's all we're going to hear about in a playoff. For as good as LC is his team looks like past teams that run into a while when playing against the big boys out East. If they manage to win it's just going to be a perception of the B1G adding another powerhouse team.
