If and when Oregon ever develops a true freshman QB into a 3 or 4 year starter is a question of unknown certainty.
In the meantime and IF Nix doesn't return...this guy is going to get A LOT of interest. He was Michigan's starting QB last season leading them to the Little Ten Championship and a Playoff berth before he was beaten out for the starting job this season and had a season ending injury.

McNamara is a traditional, NFL-style pocket passer. his most likely destinations are Notre Dame, Sparty, or maybe even tOSU. Dante Moore also projects in that same NFL mold; can run if needed but not his primary attribute.
after watching Oregon lose a few dozen games over the past 20 years because of QBs injured during designed/option run plays, I wouldn't mind going against the flow of the college game and fielding a more conventional offense.
all eyes--fans, recruits, transfers, current players--are on UO's hire of a new OC. huge decision for Mullens & Lanning.
