Didn't see that coming but in looking at the stats he is 4th in receptions with only 17 in 11 games and 1 TD...behind Cota with 33; Hutson with 42 and Franklin with 56. Not targeted enough?
If he is loyal to Dillingham I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to ASU and perhaps be "the guy."

You'd like to think players would wait to see who the OC is. If KD talked him into joining him this would make a lot of sense. Although it could be unrelated and DR makes a good point about being 4th in receptions. Perhaps it's not related to KD and I guess we'll find out soon.

Just had another thought...Franklin and Hutson are sophomores; Cota a senior(anymore eligibility?) so DT isn't moving up significantly - thus perhaps he is making a pre-emptive move thinking a new OC AND possibly a new QB too...time to bolt?🤔
Not interested in sticking around to learn from a new OC; Nix returning is no help to him; Nix leaving but new QB i.e. no thanks.
My PERCEPTION is he caught a lot more passes and passes for TD's than his stats reflect.

Chase Cota’s grandparents sat behind us this year, and ivv do I remember correctly, his grandpa said this was his last / extra COvid year of eligibility.
