The writer, Chris Vannini, did a nice job considering the massive range of the subject.
A key part of his criteria was not penalizing teams for losing in conference championship games but rather rewarding the teams who won those games👍
Also some teams didn't drop per se in rankings but instead were jumped by other teams.
To no surprise it was feast or famine with the Pac-12...6 highly ranked; 1 above the middle and 5 in the bottom half...
#6 - UTAH
#7 - USC
#10 - UW
#14 - OSU
#15 - UO
#16 - UCLA
#50 - WSU
#75 - AZ
#88 - CAL
#93 - STANFORD
#112 - ASU
#124 - COLORADO (I think Prime is going to change that)
I think the "bunching" of six Pac-12 teams from #6 to #16 reflects how close all those teams were to each other and maybe had half-a-dozen plays gone differently in some games, the rankings would look very different.
And in case anyone is interested...

Consider , against the huskies, Bo fumbling at the goal line , Bo screwing up his ankle on a rather questionable QB run, and the failure to get a TD against the Beavs when we needed it.
Those three plays go our way and we play the trojans.

Really painful to think about.
But I've already put it behind me and am looking forward to next year. It's always nice to have basketball right on the heels of football season. I can transition from one set of frustrations to the next!
