So here we have a high school kid gaming Oregon? Or is he gaming UCLA?
Lanning and Kelly are puppets now.
Honestly, when I see this kind of stuff, it doesn't give me a good feeling about his character...yeah he is only a high school kid but not every recruit acts this way.
If you are seriously looking at other schools then man-up, decommit and do what you need to do but these photo-ops scream big entitled ego.

Yeah,
At this point I don't care about Moore anymore. I don't like his antics one bit. That's just the way college football is these days. A lot of games and posturing. If he decides to come here, great. But if he doesn't, I won't shed one tear. Honestly looks like Nix may be back, or if not, I guess that Card kid from Texas is interested in Oregon which would be sweet.
Honestly, I'm kind of leery of High School quarterbacks these days. I think it's really becoming smarter to take an experienced portal QB.
Never thought I'd say that in a million years.

Lots of smoke about Moore flipping. Losing his main man in Dilly is really what opened the door for all this. Waiting on Bo to decide isn't helping either. Moore appears to want to be a starter next year, and few frosh can do that, so we'll see what happens. Maybe he didn't hit it off with our new OC...and maybe he won't flip. Crazy time of year.
I do think that QB is a position that might be better filled thru the portal now.

If this Moore kid thinks he can start at the P5 level on Day One, he needs to find the school that will make that promise. And if he gets the hook after six games because college ain’t high school competition, what prevents him from jumping right into the portal? There is a certain lack of maturity where these HS players felt they could reduce multimillionaire coaches into groveling in the past, and that was true to an extent. But they lost their leverage to a degree outside of the 5* guys.
I truly think that coaches deep inside are more embracing of the portal because it allows certain dead weight to depart on amicable terms while allowing to bring in proven collegiate talent. It was a benefit to the Duck program last year to be sure.

I agree that the QB position filled by the portal is the way to go now. Oregon and Washington (barf) did well with the portal at QB. Who wants to chance some snot nosed kid to lead your team and then transfer out because his little feelings are hurt? Can't think of the last time a freshman started at QB in Division 5, at least in the PAC12. I am surprised it took this long for Butterfield to enter the portal. An experienced QB who has been through the drill is the answer. It appears there are still a few available if Bo goes.

Actually, 5 star Dylan Raiola has now decommited from tOSU, and he was considering the Ducks
Buckle Up

I keep seeing that UCLA now appears to be the favorite for Moore. Like others have said I'm great with Bo coming back and finding someone else.
Check out Moore's update and the rest of the Wild West news with takes from Andrew. The Ducks are in play to flip a few different 5*.
Modern day recruiting with it's finest with players committing for months and saying how solid they are only to change course numerous times over.

UCLA just got a commitment from a transfer QB from Kent State. So now what does Moore do?? It's just crazy out there. Meanwhile, Bo hasn't made a decision yet, and while I know we want him back, I don't think the staff can afford to wait if someone else becomes available. Too bad Ty never worked out.

I saw that too...AND UCLA has an incoming 4* freshman QB, plus Husky redshirt sophomore transfer Ethan Garbers...DTR's backup this past season!
Moore has a better chance to play at Oregon.

He is a 2024 commit...still only a junior so another year to go. His uncle was retained as the OL coach by Matt Ruhle at Nebraska🤔

LOL.
Looks like Moore may have postured and posed himself into a pickle.
Maybe he should just go to Michigan State after all.

LOL Yeah it seems like Kelly must have got some vibe that Moore was not coming to UCLA... otherwise why would he offer / take a transfer portal QB from Kent State???
Oregon's QB situation is much more precarious than UCLA...they have DTR's backup; a 4* recruit coming in and now the Kent State transfer...if we know anything about Chip it is that he is supremely confident his QB, whoever it might be, can do the job.
Oregon on the other hand has Nix and TT..and Nix is no guarantee.
