Doesn't it seem like it was just a few years ago that Kyle was a Duck? He was a great one year addition back in 2013. Being a lifelong Bears fan I've followed his NFL career. He was a top notch lineman right out of the gates his rookie season. Unfortunately he has succumbed to a number of injuries. I wish Kyle the best moving forward in life.

Five or six years is a good career for an nfl lineman. I think the average NFL career is about 3.5 years. I don't know what the average length is for a lineman. Being the most violent positions on the team every play, I would imagine it is short.

i don't know if the audio is still easily available online, but there were a couple of Kyle and Jill Savage 'interviews' while Kyle was still at U of O that went completely off the rails and into fun world. if you haven't heard them track down Jill and ask her for a link. they were comedy gold! i DM'd her after one and she was all 'that thing went completely sideways fast lol' (:
my favorite quote about Kyle was from Howie on DP's show saying 'Kyle is "roll out of bed strong"' after DP asked about family wrestling matches....

Never saw this side of K Long, or B Marshall for that matter.
