Average football attendance at Pac-12 schools

I am most surprised by Colorado which finished 7th with one of the worst teams in college football. Sanders hiring has already impacted potential attendance.

What jumps out to me is how small the Pac-12 stadiums are relatively speaking.

For some reason I thought the Coliseum was bigger than 78K.

Re: Average football attendance at Pac-12 schools

I heard an interesting bit of information that Utah is an outlier in that their attendance has increased over 10 years and more seating capacity was added. Even out East and in the South in game attendance has diminished. This is widespread in sports of course as every sport is in a competition with the new HD TV's.

Pac 12 stadiums fit the populations numbers.

I read that the Ducks had looked at expanding seats a while back, but determined the extra seats wouldn't be needed. I'm glad Autzen is the size it is. More fans at the Coliseum still looks like less with just over half filled seats and all.
