Compared to last year things went pretty well with maybe a couple exceptions.
I kept hearing so much about Christian Gonzalez possibly going in the top 10 and a lot of draft boards did too. #17 is really not that bad and as much as I'm not a Patriots fan they do still have a decent defense.
At least Alex got drafted, but I thought he would go sooner than the 7th round.
Noah Sewell seemed like the real wild card from the Ducks. Being a lifelong Bears fan I'm glad they picked up. Despite the team being abysmal recently the new coaching staff and GM could turn the team around. They already addressed the LB position in free agency and had more pressing needs, which shows they really liked his upside. National media mentioned his physically as a plus and great rookie season with his downsides being pass coverage and not getting better from his rookie year. He has the size and strength to be a good NFL player and I'll be rooting him on of course.
